Allison Theus-Milligan

Before co-founding Rose Line, my career was in concept art and visual development for some of the biggest names in entertainment. I've designed creatures and characters for Amazon Games, built worlds for Disney, shaped armor and weapons for the Darksiders franchise, and worked with studios like Retro Studios and Wizards of the Coast. I've illustrated for Pathfinder and Starfinder, and I'm a published artist and author.

What did every one of those roles have in common? Listening. My job was never just to draw; it was to sit with a designer, a director, or a team and really hear what they were trying to say, then translate that into something visual and alive. I learned how to take someone's half formed idea and give it shape.

That skill, deep listening and translating what someone wants into something real, turns out to be exactly what retirement planning needs more of. Most women don't need someone to talk at them about numbers. They need someone who will listen to what they're actually saying and help them see a future that finally makes sense.

When I'm not working, you'll find me hiking with our family dog, out on the water kayaking, tending to a growing collection of plants, or still making art. I'm a happily married mom of two, and deeply grateful for a life that lets me keep creating, just in a whole new way.
